Chronic Myeloid Leukemia & Essential Thrombocythemia: BCR-ABL p210 Major Transcript Positive with Platelet Count reaching 18 Lakh as per CBC report. Mitinab 400 was recommended but developed kidney stones and intense Hair fall post taking this medicine and when I stopped the medicine the platelets increased back to 18 Lakh. Consulted another Hematologist and he also suggested the same medicine but reduced the dose to 100 mg initially along with Hyroxyurea but eventually, he also suggested to keep the dose to 400 mg. I am getting married in April this year and really worried about my condition. Is this a symptom of CML? Or ET only as Platelet count is huge? Does it going to have any adverse effect on my married life?
